I’m a coffee lover. Like OB-SESSED. Unfortunately, Coffee does not love me back and it actually hurts my stomach. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve had an upset stomach in the morning, or how many times I wondered if my tubes miraculously opened up and I was experiencing morning sickness. Nope. It was my beloved coffee killing my stomach. How rude, right??
I’ve switched out coffee for my Arbonne Detox Tea. It is delicious and has so many amazing benefits!! I drink it alone in the afternoons when I need a warm afternoon pick me up. In the morning though, I mix it with coconut or oat milk and protein powder. It tastes like a latte and I’m in loooooove! My seasonal “latte” is chocolate protein and a few drops of peppermint extract. A version of my peppermint mocha latte that won’t eat my tummy.
My mom is a pot of coffee a day drinker, and she drinks it black. When she did her 30 day cleanse, that was the ONE thing I worried about her being able to cut out. She did though, and she had NO issues! Like me, she loved her morning Latte’s and did not even miss her coffee!
