Day 9 of Lori’s 12 Days of Arbonne Favorite Things

Have a brush with greatness. Our specially designed brushes give you all the tools to create the perfect beauty look. You’ll love their super-soft feel and natural wood handles – plus they come in a chic canvas case with a pocket for makeup extras. Six brushes: Liquid Foundation, Powder, All Over Eye, Shading, Slant and Cheek.

I love makeup brushes, I really do!  These brushes from Arbonne feel so good against my skin.  That sounds weird, but I’m serious!  I used to use one big brush for everything…gross.  I love my new collection and take extra good care of them.  Don’t forget to clean your brushes often!  You’re already using Arbonne cosmetics and skin care to take care of your skin without harmful toxins, don’t let dirty brushes contaminate your skin!

Day 8 of Lori’s 12 Days of Arbonne Favorite Things

Create some solar flair. Our silky-light powder creates the look of glowing cheeks and brow bones. Brushes on evenly for a flawless-looking finish.

I think everyone looks better with a little bronzer!  I sweep mine from my hair line, under my cheek bones and to my jaw line in the shape of 3 or E.  It just defines things a little nicer!  I’ve been using Arbonne bronzer for over 10 years, when it used to come in a huge compact.  Best stuff EVER!!!!

Day 7 of Lori’s 12 Days of Arbonne Favorite Things

I LOVE this mascara!!!  Life is an epic tale – start telling it with your eyes. High-performance lengthening mascara helps create the look of ultra-dramatic lashes with major longitude. Clinically tested and formulated to be water-resistant and longwearing.

I did not wear mascara for a long time.  I hated how it clumped on my lashes and would run by the end of the day.  This mascara does NEITHER!!  I never get clumps on my lashes and it seriously lasts all day and night!  I love how it showcases my eyes, which is hard to do when you wear glasses!  This will definitely be making an appearance in my gifts to family this year!

Day 6 of Lori’s 12 Days of Arbonne Favorite Things

Day 6

Some days, you really want a more polished look.  Date night, a wedding, an important meeting at work.  Those days you want to take a little extra time on your look.  That’s when I use this miracle CC Cream.  Many people use it every day, I get up too early to put on a full face every day.  This is my secret weapon when I want to look like I’m in a snapchat filter.  LOL!  Seriously, it’s like spackle for your face!!

The actual review of the CC cream:  Skincare meets cosmetics to create a beautiful, healthier-looking complexion. Buildable coverage conceals blemishes and dark spots, and minimize the appearance of pores while botanicals soothe and hydrate. Our formula primes, mattifies and brightens, for more even-looking skin tone.

I like to use the CC cream, bronzer, highlighter stick, blush and eyes as a full face.  I’ll let you know about the last few items later this week!

Day 5 of Lori’s 12 Days of Arbonne Favorite Things

Girrrrlllllssss, this mineral powder is the stuff of legends!!  Some days a swipe of this mineral powder is all you need to jump start your look!  Like today, when I didn’t feel like getting out of bed.  A little powder and lip balm and I’m ready for my day.  The brush is also a necessity for perfect coverage, but I’ll cover that in a few days!

Don’t worry girl, I got you covered.

Day 4 of Lori’s 12 Days of Arbonne Favorite Things

day 4

The new Brightening cleanser is the bomb!  It’s a moisturizing formula that is botanically based.  It purifies the skin without stripping it of essential hydration.  In other words, it makes your face really, really soft and look pretty.

I starting using this cleanser about 3 weeks ago and I can honestly say that I notice the difference!  For the first time in my life I feel comfortable in my own skin.  Many days I don’t even wear makeup because I don’t need to cover up imperfections.

Day 3 of Lori’s 12 Days of Arbonne Favorite Things

Today I want to showcase the Re9 Intensive Renewal Serum.  This has been a favorite of mine for years.  My skin has always had issues.  Blemishes, sun spots, redness.  This serum is like an eraser!  Seriously, it takes my redness away instantly and makes my skin look and feel so healthy!

One of the side effects of losing 100+ pounds is saggy skin.  I guess my double chin was full for so long, that I now have a wobble at 41 years old.  UGH!  Re9 Serum plus the genius ultra (to be featured later on in my favorites!) tightens up that skin!  It’s like starch and an iron FOR YOUR FACE!  Yeah, I’m totally serious!

Ok, now that I just admitted that I have a chin wobble, my face is red again and I must sign off.

Day 2 of Lori’s 12 Days of Arbonne Favorite Things

day 2

I’m a coffee lover.  Like OB-SESSED.  Unfortunately, Coffee does not love me back and it actually hurts my stomach.  I can’t tell you how many times I’ve had an upset stomach in the morning, or how many times I wondered if my tubes miraculously opened up and I was experiencing morning sickness.  Nope.  It was my beloved coffee killing my stomach.  How rude, right??

I’ve switched out coffee for my Arbonne Detox Tea.  It is delicious and has so many amazing benefits!!  I drink it alone in the afternoons when I need a warm afternoon pick me up.  In the morning though, I mix it with coconut or oat milk and protein powder.  It tastes like a latte and I’m in loooooove!  My seasonal “latte” is chocolate protein and a few drops of peppermint extract.  A version of my peppermint mocha latte that won’t eat my tummy.

My mom is a pot of coffee a day drinker, and she drinks it black.  When she did her 30 day cleanse, that was the ONE thing I worried about her being able to cut out.  She did though, and she had NO issues!  Like me, she loved her morning Latte’s and did not even miss her coffee!

Now excuse me, while I sip on my sweet elixir of happiness.  Yes.  I totally just said that.

Day 1 of Lori’s 12 Days of Arbonne Favorite Things

day 1

Oh my goodness, you guys!  I literally could not live without my digestion plus!!!  Since I’ve been taking it (for months now!) my anxiety has calmed down, I generally feel better and ummm… ibs(c) has calmed down.  It’s seriously a miracle worker!!  It tastes horrible, so I mix a tube with a yummy fizzy as soon as I wake up and chug it down.  The fizzy energizes me, the digestion plus heals me from the inside and I’m getting in 16oz of water before 6am. I’ve also been lucky enough to fight off all of the seasons illnesses around me.  Even the one a month or two ago that was sharing a bed with me.  lol  Again, miracle worker!!!

Lori + DigestionPlus = Forever

It’s Holiday Season!

Hello!!  It’s always so hard to come back to work after an extended weekend.  I was off work for 5 glorious days, and I’m feeling it this morning!

How was everyone’s Thanksgiving??  Ours was absolutely lovely, and filled with family, food and fun!  Thursday we were able to spend time with both of our families and filled our bellies a little too much.  It was worth it!!

Friday my mom and my bestie and I headed out to the mall by 4am.  This year was a little different though, as the kids were all awake and came with us!!  Josh, Ava and my cousin Breanna joined us and split off as soon as we arrived.  We gave them some cash and said, “Pick out a few things for Christmas!”  We had breakfast around 9am and then headed home…to NAP!  It was so much fun!  Josh grabbed some Beatles socks, a record or two and a few other items he was hoping for.  I just can’t remember what they are…I’ll be surprised when I go to wrap.  🙂  Besides a few gift cards, we are DONE our shopping!  Woohoo!!!

Saturday I had my first craft show of the season.  It benefited a local church preschool program and there were so many amazing vendors there!!  I set up my jewelry and some of my wood signs and pictures.  I was pretty pleased with my sales, but I spent most of it on goods for myself.  LOL!  Lularoe, Posh, handmade banners, etc.  We have another craft market this Sunday and next at the Natural Foods store and then a big one on 12/15 at a local high school.  That one benefits a marching band, so you know I’m on that!!  I’ll always be a marching band mama!  I have a lot to work on this week to be ready for the shows!!  Here are a couple pictures from Saturday:

It was so nice to relax yesterday until it was time to take Josh back to school.  The house will be quiet (and clean!) again for the next 3 weeks until Winter break begins, but I will miss my boy so much!!!  We will see him on Saturday for his winter concert, though.

I’m starting another Arbonne 30 day cleanse from now until Christmas Eve today.  I did a lot of meal prep when I returned home from taking Josh.  Muffins, Turkey and vegetable soup, salad.  I feel so much better when I’m eating properly.  I have no regrets of the past weekend though.  I was still mindful of everything I ate.  Did I have a slice of pie?  yep, but just one.  Did I have a few sugar free Starbucks Latte’s?  Oh, yes I did and I enjoyed every sip…until the acid gave me an upset stomach.

Busy week ahead!  What’s on YOUR agenda??
