What’s up?? I haven’t updated in awhile. Work was crazy at the beginning of the school year and I just fell out of routine. Here’s what’s up this week!
We’re still so madly in love with the Giz-ball. Could he be any cuter??
It’s been hard returning to work after a 2 week break. I wish we were independently wealthy!
While on break I cleaned and organized the house. I’m so in love with my craft room again, now that it’s clean. Lol I had a lot of projects for Christmas stuff was just everywhere! Plus that’s where I kept the Gifts. It’s organized and pretty again. We had a few weeks of unhealthy eating and I’m feeling so much better since I’m clean eating again! Living my Arbonne lattes in the morning.
I slacked off on exercise, but hubby was killing it!! He did his 100th Peloton ride the day after Christmas. I’m so proud!! I’m back on the bike and will hit by 100th ride on Sunday morning! I’m also doing a 4 week strength challenge. The first workout was upper body on Monday night and I’m so sore! The good kind of sore!

I am so super in love with our new dog, Gizmo. I could just snuggle him ALL THE TIME! I miss him when we’re apart, just like I do my other two boys. 🙂
Aaron and I hosted a chili cookoff this past weekend at our home. I made two different chili’s and placed the two lowest. What’s up with that?? My mom took first place with her Hunka Burnin’ Love chili. LOL!
Sunday was a lazy day with my mom, Josh and my bestie and lil bestie. We ate and laid around watching tv. We never get days like this and it was FABULOUS!!!
Today is my brothers birthday. Last year he turned 40 and had his second knee replacement the day after. This year he’s having his thyroid removed tomorrow. Hopefully next year will be surgery free! Here’s a real throwback picture of us. A cracked up Polaroid.
This weekend we have the Run for the Stripes to benefit Neuroendocrine Tumors. We walked it last year too, but this year we have a whole team! I’m so excited to raise money for a great cause and spend time with family at the zoo.
Hey, hey! I know, I know, it’s Thursday, but I was too busy to break yesterday.
My little cousin gets married this weekend and I’m so excited! It’s a barn style wedding with bbq for dinner. Exactly what I was planning for Aaron and my wedding, but had to forgo when we moved our ceremony up a year. I’m excited to see everything! I made all of her signs and her bridesmaids jewelry. It’s so fun to see everything come to fruition!
I’m getting to spend some time with my mama tonight. We’re getting pedicures and I’m getting my nails painted.
We had Aaron’s 6 month appointment on Tuesday. Everything looks great, his scans are clear and we were cleared to get a DOG!!! We decided that we want a dog who is already house trained, not a puppy, one that we can take for walks at parks, etc. So I walk in to work yesterday and the girls up front asked how everything went. I told them he was excellent and that we are now allowed to get a dog. One of the secretaries was like, TAKE MY DOG!! Her and her son are just not dog people. They don’t enjoy taking him for walks, and he’s alone alot. He’s a pure bred Bichon Frise, so he hypoallergenic and doesnt shed! He’s house trained and wee wee pad trained since he’s alone all day. So we are taking him Saturday night after the wedding and seeing how he does overnight in our home and then all day Sunday. We’ll take him for walks and love on him all day! Then see where it goes from there.

It’s hump day! I have one day left of crazy work and then a long weekend to recoup. We’ll be in Cape May, NJ Friday through Sunday with Aaron’s family. Tomorrow night my girlfriends and I are getting together to celebrate 3 of our birthdays from August. I’m excited for some girl time. I’ve already planned my meal, since it’s once of my favorite restaurants. Blt salad with filet. Yum! Not much else is going on in Lori Land. Lol! Enjoy your weekend!
What’s up? I’m in the middle of hell week for work and I’m exhausted!!! I’ve been starting my early mornings with exercise to keep me strong and good wholesome foods to keep my body happy. My brain is overloaded. I’m actually getting ready to meditate to hopefully calm my mind and get a restful night sleep. Hope you are having a great week!
