Hey, hey! I know, I know, it’s Thursday, but I was too busy to break yesterday.
My little cousin gets married this weekend and I’m so excited! It’s a barn style wedding with bbq for dinner. Exactly what I was planning for Aaron and my wedding, but had to forgo when we moved our ceremony up a year. I’m excited to see everything! I made all of her signs and her bridesmaids jewelry. It’s so fun to see everything come to fruition!
I’m getting to spend some time with my mama tonight. We’re getting pedicures and I’m getting my nails painted.
We had Aaron’s 6 month appointment on Tuesday. Everything looks great, his scans are clear and we were cleared to get a DOG!!! We decided that we want a dog who is already house trained, not a puppy, one that we can take for walks at parks, etc. So I walk in to work yesterday and the girls up front asked how everything went. I told them he was excellent and that we are now allowed to get a dog. One of the secretaries was like, TAKE MY DOG!! Her and her son are just not dog people. They don’t enjoy taking him for walks, and he’s alone alot. He’s a pure bred Bichon Frise, so he hypoallergenic and doesnt shed! He’s house trained and wee wee pad trained since he’s alone all day. So we are taking him Saturday night after the wedding and seeing how he does overnight in our home and then all day Sunday. We’ll take him for walks and love on him all day! Then see where it goes from there.
Ok, back to work. that’s what’s up with me, What’s up with you?
Hey y’all! It’s finally Friday!! Actually, I can’t believe it’s Friday already. This week flew by, since I’ve been so busy with work. Fitness was on point this week.
So, what did you do to move your body this week?
What’s up? Can you believe this week is already half over?
- We went to a really fun wedding this weekend. It was fun dressing up and having a little wine.
- Spent Sunday making signs for my cousins wedding next weekend.
- My brain is fried after finally finishing a project I’ve been working on at work.
- I’ve been having fun with the style challenge I’m doing. It started on Monday!
What’s up with you?
Happy Monday! I had a great weekend and am looking forward to a good week! Started off with a country music workout with intervals and arms. Last week was rough. I skipped workouts on Wednesday and Friday, then the weekend. I was feeling very rundown and my body and brain needed the break. Work has been brutally busy, so this week I’m using my workouts to beat the brain and body stress. Here’s what’s on our menu this week:
Monday: Falafel and Tzaziki with side salads.
Tuesday: Turkey Tacos and rice
Wednesday: Salisbury Steaks with Onion Gravy over mashed potatoes.
Thursday: Chicken tenders in the air fryer.
Friday: Grilled chicken salads, most likely on the go. I have a show to get ready for on Saturday!
What are you eating this week?
What’s up? It’s only Wednesday and I’m already exhausted. It’s been a busy week at work so far. Here’s what’s up with me:
- I’m looking forward to a friends wedding this weekend. I love love ❤️
- I joined a style challenge for fall. Hoping to get myself out of my style rut! Get your pretty on is the site and I’m excited! It starts Monday.
- I get to see my kid tonight. We’re going grocery shopping for his dorm and then out to dinner. Hubs has a doctor appointment and then will meet us for dinner.
So, what’s up with you?
We are back from an amazing weekend away and I have to say, I was not ready to come back to work! We spent the weekend in Cape May, NJ with family, walking around town and bike riding all over the place. We ate really yummy food (Lobster TWICE!) and I was lucky to not have gained any weight. We went on a boat ride and saw dolphins swimming right next to us and got to hang out with some awesome new friends and cute kids. On the home front, Josh made an acapella group and I am SO EXCITED!!!!! I love seeing my boy on stage and we will totally get to see him in shows and competitions. This mama is happy, happy, happy!!!
So here’s what Aaron and I are eating this week. We meal planned on the ride home yesterday and got our groceries before we even went home.
M: Pierogies and sauteed squash, zucchini and mushrooms for meatless Monday.
T: Turkey Tacos! I love taco tuesdays.
W: Shepherds Pie. I haven’t made it in a while and it’s always such a yummy dinner.
T: New York Strip steaks. We haven’t had steak in a while and my low iron is begging for it!
F: Leftovers. We’ll have plenty after this week’s cooking. I’m hoping there will be Shepherds pie left! I may bring it for lunches though!
S: Wedding! My friend is getting married and I’m so excited to celebrate her and her new hubby!
S: Family dinner
Breakfasts are eggs and turkey sausage and lunches are chicken salad sandwiches. I’m obsessed with the sandwiches lately. I’ve never been a big bread or sandwich eater.
